Reading Radio
In 2023, the Ubuntu Foundation kindly donated in support of Reading Radio. These funds allowed Reading Radio to increase the capacity of our production studios.
Reading Radio 4RPH is a not-for -profit community radio station that brings the world of print to our listening audience in the greater Brisbane area. The population we serve may not be able, or choose not to read printed material, due to age, disability, literacy problems, or simply a busy lifestyle.
We are a unique radio reading service, using a wide variety of printed and online material which includes: daily newspapers, online news services, magazines, books, and journals as the basis for our programs.
Reading Radio combines the immediacy and convenience of radio with the depth of information normally found in printed material. This service is a highly effective and accessible means of closing the information gap many people experience.
