Positive Change for Marine Life

Ubuntu Foundation are proud to be major supporters of Positive Change for Marine Life (PCFML) and their vital projects in Australia and India. Through understanding, education and respect PCFML are driving long-term change for the ocean, as well as the coastal communities who rely on them for survival.

Over the past 9 years they have had multiple successes - ranging from implementing single-use plastic bans in Australia, the Seychelles and India to transitioning communities to more sustainable practices across a range of areas including waste management, waterway remediation, and sustainable fisheries.

PCFML were our 2020/21 major partner. We drive funds to key areas of their projects to assist them to grow and reach their objectives. We have a particular interest in their Waste to Wealth projects in India and the Solomon Islands - working with some of the most marginalised coastal communities to develop decentralised economic models, which are driven by the community, for the community.
